  • DivX 1-pass : 4. Some of the very slight texture has vanished. Very good overall.
  • XviD103 1-pass : 2. The blocks are very annoying, because you can see them move around when you play the video. The texture has also vanished a bit but much less.
  • XviD110 1-pass : 2. Same as 1.0.3, very slightly better.
  • DivX 2-pass : 3. The image is completely smooth, none of the texture has remained. Very few blocks.
  • XviD103 2-pass : 2. More blocks, less texture but still a bit more than both DivX... Worse than 1-pass
  • XviD110 2-pass : 2. Same as 1.0.3.
The key point here is that this frame doesn't get more bits in 2-pass mode, it gets less. All three 1-pass encodes look better.
