  • dvds: 3. Blocks are definitely visible but not too annoying here. The texture has disappeared completely.
  • dvds DA: 3. Same
  • dvds Sharp: 4. Very good indeed. Apart from the top-right portion of the image, hard to find any difference with the original.
QE seems promising on this first frame. Deep Analysis, however is disappointing as there is virtually no difference with or without.
For a better view of this picture you can switch to the 'Superposition' mode.
  • dvds: 3, No blocks are overly visible, but the image has been considerably smoothed out. All texture has disappeared.
  • dvdsda: 3. Same here.
  • dvds sharp: 4. Again, a clear winner here. Most of the texture is there except in a few places in the picture. Much closer to the original than was the two others. It is interesting to note that the texture seems slightly smoothed out in some places and slightly sharpened in others.
Again, Deep Analysis didn't add anything here. Sharp mode seems to be 'almost perfect'.
  • dvds: 3.5. A bit smoothed out where there is texture, the image is very good.
  • dvdsda 3.5. Hard to find differences for Deep Analysis.
  • dvds sharp: 4. The texture lost in the two previous encodes is there again, along with a bit of artifacts on the numerous animals. Overall excellent.
Deep Analysis is worthless. Sharp mode excellent.
  • dvds: 3.5. while blocky, the image is overall very good. The high motion makes it hard to notice these blocks when watching the movie.
  • dvdsda 3.5. Hard to find differences for Deep Analysis.
  • dvds sharp: 4 The image is a lot better, with almost no blocks, and certainly none discernable while watching the movie.
all three encodes deserve a 4 here. Although Sharp is a bit worse than the rest (look above the witch).
  • dvds: 3. Quite a few blocks, and all the fine grained texture has vanished entirely.
  • dvdsda 3.5. Some texture has been regained and some blocks have vanished. For the first time, Deep Analysis brings a visible difference to the game.
  • dvds sharp: 4 Blocks have almost entirely vanished and we have a picture very close to the original here. Granted, it looks more like 'noise' than the original texture, but it is all for the best as the overall feeling is exactly the same as long as you are at one arm's length of your screen.
  • dvds: 3.5. Lots of blocks here, and the raindrops have suffered a bit of blurriness. Details aren't there, as usual.
  • dvdsda 3.5. Small improvements in some small areas of the picture.
  • dvds sharp: 3.5 All the details and raindrops are back... With a few extra details. The scene is noticeably noisier than the original, not enough to be noticed when viewing though.
Everyone gets a 4 here, with an image very clear. Sharp adds a bit of noise and both others are a bit soft, but overall excellent.
