There are two things in this picture:
  • On the top part, the waves are destroyed at 500kbps. They gradually appear up to 4K. Even at 3K (on the left) some details are gone.
  • On the bottom, the shade to dark blue is just unwatchable below 1500kbps: All details are gone and macroblocks are the only thing left. You see them moving instead of the shade. At 1500kbps it is not too visible on a CRT TV. Up to 4000kbps it is visible on a computer screen although very dim at 4k

Everyone is fairly good here.
  • Details are gone from the waves from 500 to 1000. From 1500 to 4000, the image is surprisingly steady!
  • Artifacts and blocks on Nemo show the same: An increase up to 1500kbps and stable above.

Same scenario here than on the precedent frame: We can clearly see a steady improve from 500 to 1500, and then bitrate increase doesn't really improve quality.

Again, the same can be observed. Any bitrate over 1500kbps seems a waste...

At 500kbps, the heads of the bords are really crushed.

Same again and again. The images are very very close above 1500kbps. Below the quality increases steadily.

At last! Something interesting ;)

Here again, quality increases steadily until 1500kbps. And then, from where I'm seating, I can see a clear decrease in quality above 200kbps !!!! Look at the left fin!! This result is deeply disturbing!
